Spring Valley CCSD99 receives Title I funding for Targeted and Schoolwide programs. Title I qualifying schools are identified based on the percentage of students qualifying for financial support.

Each school that receives Title I funds, whether on a Targeted or School-wide basis, implements a School-Parent Compact. It outlines how parents, the entire school staff, and students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement and the means by which the school and parents will build and develop a partnership to help children achieve.  

Title 1 funds are used to meet the needs of children requiring academic support. Resources provided include:

• Additional staff

• Intervention programs

• Supplemental materials

• After-school and summer enrichment activities

• Family engagement opportunities
