Pick Up & Drop Off
South Traffic Pattern Update & Pickup/Drop Off info:
Since the 2016 addition to Kennedy School we have had one exit point for all vehicles. The direction of the south parking lot has been reversed and will now go west to east. All vehicles using the south lot will enter off of Strong Avenue and exit using North Richards Street. We hope to alleviate congestion issues, and the crossing guard on Route 6 will help departing buses and traffic. Students picked up on the south end should be riding in the back seat and should now get in the driver side. All buses, walkers and Kindergarten/1st grade car riders (and their siblings) will be dismissed and exit the south side.
AM: Only buses and walkers are allowed on the south side. All students being dropped off will be dropped off in the north lot from 7:45 to 8:15 am. Please pull up and when your vehicle is stopped between the front door and the north junior high entrance, please have your child exit the vehicle. If you have a special circumstance where your child(ren) needs to be dropped off between 7:30-7:40 please contact the office for permission and directives.
PM: All 2nd through 8th grade students, who are car riders, will be picked up in the North Lot beginning at 3:15.
All buses (3:00 dismissal), walkers & car riders (3:15 dismissal). Kindergarten/1st grade car riders will exit on the south side.
