About Mrs. Booth
I am Mrs. Booth, a first grade teacher, at Lincoln School. I can't believe this is my twelfth year teaching!
I grew up in Mendota where I still reside. I live with my husband, Jay, and our two young daughters. This is my first year teaching first grade! Prior to coming to Spring Valley, I taught fifth and sixth grades in Oglesby and Mendota. I graduated from IVCC and NIU, as well as from Aurora University. Reading is a passion of mine, and I try to make sure all my students are able to experience the same excitement that I get from good books.
I love working with first graders! I find these students to be very eager to learn and so lovable. It's exciting to watch them grow and become more independent as well. I look forward to working in partnership with you to make this a great year for your child!
